TV personality Vanessa Minnillo was born on November 9, 1980, on the Clark Air Force Base, in the Philippines and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. In 1997 she became Miss Teen South Carolina, and the next year she was Miss Teen USA. Then in 2003 she landed the job of VJ on MTV's popular "Total Request Live." The 1998 Miss Teen USA worked the pageant circuit as a judge and backstage correspondent before parlaying her success into a spot as cohost of MTV's Total Request Live in 2003.
